29 October, 2009 | 11.35PMIf you think your stuff is good enough then there’s a record pool called Unsigned Recordings that considers tracks before the A&R of record companies do.
DJs and labels get sent so many tracks these days that a lot employ other people to listen to them for them, or just bin them due to lack of time (certain labels have told me that about 1 in 50 to 1 in 100 tracks they receive are worth signing). So it’s not surprising that unknown artists don’t get released.
Unsigned Recordings has started a group on Soundcloud to allow submissions of tracks (progressive, electro, tech house and techno) that will then be vetted for the A&R departments of big record labels. If you want your tracks to have a chance of standing out then head over to:

And stick your track in the dropbox!
