Asad Rizvi remixes ‘Pillow Talk’

Asad Rizvi has remixed Spencer Gray’s ‘Pillow Talk’ for San Francisco’s Loveslap Recordings.
This four year old soulful house classic is not a cover of Sylvia’s ‘70s disco-erotica, instead an equally sublime shuffler with Heather Johnson’s seductive adlibs punctuating as deeply as her heartfelt words.
This is the sort of record that if it were made by MAW, it would be heralded as the epitome of cool, as it easily stands head-and-shoulders above the current competition.
Asad’s new mixes also feature additional vocals by a certain Robert Owens.
If this were a duvet, it would be 15 tog goose feather and down!
Meanwhile, Asad Rizvi’s Reverberations imprint is due for a relaunch after the summer break with a single by Croydon’s The Inhabitants, backed by a very hot remix by Demarkus Lewis.
