Art Bleek ‘Antichambre’ on Rush Hour Recordings
24 September, 2007 | 8.58AM- Section: Music News
Rush Hour make the French Connection with this release from Parisian producer, Art Bleek.
Having released more jazz orientated releases on various labels, these are his first techno outings and we are very pleased to be presenting them to you!
‘Antichambre’ builds up slowly before swinging into a cool house groover reminiscent of the old Herbert sound but with a very fresh production edge.
Damaged Language System enters deeper realms but stays playful, soulful and firmly on the right side of minimal!
We had some great reactions from a wide range of DJs on this one; here are some choice quotes:
DJ Deep (Deeply Rooted House) “I love those two tracks....thanks so much!”
DJ Rolando (Crossroads) “Very groovy laidback stuff. Really like ‘Antichambre’.”
Alex From Tokyo (Tokyo Blackstar) “Oh la la, ‘Antichambre’ is so fonky! This is my jam.”
Fabrice Lig “‘Antichambre’ is excellent, nice piece of deep music...in the way of early Transmat/fragile. A pleasure for my ears! Full support.”
Dan Curtin (Metamorphic) “Damaged language system is hot! Will definitely fully support this release!”
