Armada @ Amnesia welcomes house night Contact

House and trance clubbers will dance heel to fluffy leg warmer at Amnesia in Ibiza this summer, as Armin Van Buuren’s Armada crew will host the main room on Tuesdays, whilst a new house night Contact will host the famous Amnesia terrace.

“Joining Armada’s elite force, Tuesdays at Amnesia welcome a new player called ‘Contact’,” an insider told Beatportal.

“Contact will rip up the terrace each week, inviting labels like the mighty Toolroom and Yoshitoshi along for the house music ride.

“Its sole aim being to bring the most talented international DJs and producers together under one roof, thus creating a true Ibiza experience.”

Armin Van Buuren is exclusive to Amnesia this year, and will play a massive 11 weeks out of the 14-week season.

The Dutch DJ plans to record a new ‘A State of Trance’ album live in Ibiza and there are rumours that Armin plans to do an all-nighter at the giant club under his ‘Armin Only’ brand.

With DJ Tiësto doing his solo concerts across the road at Privilege every Monday, it looks like Ibiza will be a trance-friendly island this summer.

Armin Van Buuren will also joined in Amnesia by fellow trance heavyweight Markus Schulz, who will play 10 dates in Ibiza.

On the house side, it looks like Mark Knight’s (right) Toolroom Records have teamed up with Deep Dish’s Yoshitoshi to jointly host the Amnesia terrace.

So far the line-up for the house terrace includes Sharam (Deep Dish), Mark Knight, Laidback Luke, Seb Fontaine, Tocadisco, Matthew Dekay, Martijn Ten Velden, Brian Cross, Richard Dinsdale, Cedric Gervais, Mar-T and Kurd Maverick.
