Tell us about the latest Monster Sounds pack?
The latest Release is called Drumstep and Mutant bass vol 1 by Kanji Kinetic . its a pretty full on adrenaline fuelled assault of a pack by a very talented young producer . the pack is based around 2 tempos 140 and 175 bpm , the 175 bpm is mostly in a drum step style and the 14o is a mixture of styles from breakbeat to 4/4 and anything in between. If you don’t know Kanjis music then its worth checking , hes all about big bold sounds , massive bass and lots of energy, and thats reflected in this pack , were really excited about this one and were blown away by the quality of the content hes put into this , hes definitely captured a very current sound with this which is what monster sounds is about.

How many more packs are in the pipe line?
we have a pretty full schedule for the next 6 months or so , as re release roughly one pack per month , we have lots of great content coming up ,
including more of our Rap accapella packs which are great for all diferent styles of music if your looking for a cheeky vocal on a tune from hip hop to house to anything ! also we have a few part 2s follow ons from other packs such as Lee Mortimers wearhouse music part 2 which is a really good one . then moving on we have Colin Dale , Aquasky , and a whole heap of others , so will be a very busy 2012.

Do you have any top tips for novice producers?
keep it fresh and dont just listen of what everyone else is doing.Forge your own sound and stick with it , as its too easy to follow trends and just sound like everyone else. For example If your using sample packs in your work try to look at artists and styles not necessarily associated with the style of music your making so you can bring in a different twist and sound to what yo do .

What’s been the best selling pack so far?
Theres be a few that have really flown , the Rap Accapella series has been very popular as i think the quality of the content is really high and theres literally no other way to get decent royalty free vocals , the only other options are you can sample something off someone else’s accapella but if you dont clear that then theres always the possibility of legal action which is not a good look , or you can get a vocalist in , which could be expensive and thats not always possible for everyone to do so .So i think we are one of the only people who do give such good quality content for people to have access to , and these are pro rappers who are on top of there game we are getting on these packs so the quality is unrivalled in our opinion.
