Anthony Pappa loves Buenos Aires

We bumped into all round good bloke Anthony Pappa on the way to the SAMC main event last night, and he revealed that Buenos Aires is his favourite place to spin at.

“The city is such a passionate place, it’s a DJ’s dream,” he said. 

“Here you can play whatever you want and the people love the music.”

“You can play a set like you would for your friends in your bedroom.”

It’s Anthony’s first time playing at SAMC and he plays a 9pm set in the main arena to about 5000 people.

He spins dark house and progressive, weaving melodies and beats into an atmospheric set.

He finishes off his set with Underworld’s ‘Dark & Long’ [track no.7 in the player] and the arena erupts with enthusiasm, the kids appreciate the epic synths.

“That’s my version of trance,” says Anthony after his set.
