It’s a couple of weeks to go until New Year’s Eve, but we’re uncorking the champagne early: we’ve got a winner in our New Year’s Anthem Producer Challenge!

As you may recall, the purpose of this producer’s contest was to craft a New Year’s Eve anthem using the Sounds/To/Sample Ultimate NYE Countdown Pack. We think our winner has done precisely that—as do Great Stuff Recordings, who will be releasing the track in time for NYE. Read on to find out who won.

The winning entry comes from Vekx, aka Keven Schumann, of the Netherlands. He’s crafted “Into the Next,” a bouncy, irrepressible tech-house number with a cleverly timed drop and enough good cheer to make sure that the opening moments of 2011 are all smiles, hugs and harmony.

In addition to the honor of having his track released on Great Stuff, Schumann wins a one-year SoundCloud Pro account, a $200 Beatport voucher, and a copy of Sample Magic’s Electro. His track is currently being mastered—watch this space to find out when it becomes available on Beatport!
