After playing a record breaking gig to one million people in Rio, selling out London’s Ministry of Sound, travelling across America in a bus, numerous worldwide club and festival appearances and producing an album under their OceanLab alias, you’d think Above & Beyond would want to take a break.

But instead the unstoppable trance trio have been busy compiling the sixth edition of their hugely successful ‘Anjunabeats’ compilation series.

‘Anjunabeats Volume 6’ showcases the best of the year’s releases on their own Anjunabeats record label across two CDs.

Compared to the second disc, CD 1 has a deeper, more progressive feel, featuring releases from the Anjunadeep sub-label. Highlights include Jaytech’s ‘Pyramid’, Andy Moor’s ‘Fake Awake’ and Oliver Smith’s ‘Horizons’.

With CD2 Above & Beyond have managed to compile a playlist of the most significant trance releases currently around, including tracks such as The Thrillseekers feat. Fisher ‘The Last Time’, their own remix of their OceanLab record ‘Breaking Ties’ and the tune that’s appeared on every must-have trance compilation released in the last three months ‘Elektra’ by Super8 & Tab.
