Groove Armada’s Andy Cato and his Pack Up & Dance imprint continues to impress with the minimal, darkly delicious and ever so slightly twisted ‘Cosmic Force’.

Cato’s solo project is a wonderfully rich and textured lite techno offering with his guitar strumming and drumming backed with a remix from Monsieur Francois Dubois, who manages to turns ‘Cosmic Force’ into an even deeper house affair.

Soul Minority go the funkier house route on their take of the track.

As a bonus, there’s the tech-etched groover ‘The Morton Lighthouse’, whose groove has rolled from the Glastonbury Festival to the terrace at Space in Ibiza.

Also check out the edgier ‘Uppers On The South Downs’, which, with the Andy Cato Hot Head Remix, is the epitome of über cool.
