The latest EP from Brazil’s Anderson Noise is ”Machines Must Die” (Noise Music), an uncompromising, bass-driven, techno smasher. (Literally—you can hear the sound of breaking glass, deep in the mix.)

To round out the package, he lined up no fewer than 11 remixes from Nir Shoshani, Luis Nieva, Gabriel Rocha, DJ Anna, DJ Mau Mau, Davide Archesiello, Glitter, Claudio Climaco, Rod B., and Hollen. Peak-time intensity is undoubtedly the order of the day, but there’s a solid mix of ideas and energys, from DJ Anna’s skippy, bass-driven tech house to DJ Mau Mau’s old-school flavors to Glitter’s nerve-wracking arpeggios.

01. Anderson Noise - Machines Must Die (Original Mix) - “The first element used to create this music was a synthesizer which crossed with the white-noise that its on the song. Also some bits of deep tones of techno, industrial sound effects and short pieces of vocals to drive the track forward.The result is a techno track.”

02. Anderson Noise - Machines Must Die (Anderson Noise Remix) - “The remix was created shortly after I saw the result of recordings for the video, with a stronger pace than the original version. I have put the sounds mixed with elements whose which gives the impression that everything is broken, and tribal beats. The result is a more tribal techno than the original version, good for moving people on the dance floor.”
