2 August, 2007 | 9.09AMOver 600 DJs and dance music artists will perform at this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, which takes place across the city from 18th - 20th October 2007.
Now in its 12th year, the business conference has grown to become the world’s biggest club festival attracting around 2000 industry professionals and 65,000 clubbers.
“Last year 15,000 people came from outside The Netherlands and this year we expect more visitors from abroad,” said ADE General Manager Richard Zijlma.
“Where else can you find a city festival providing such a rich and diverse line up of DJs and live acts performing in one place?”
This year, the line-up is staggering.
Techno artists Dave Clarke
, Miss Kittin, Oliver Huntemann, Adultnapper, Michel de Hey and Gregor Tresher will perform.
Paul van Dyk
(pictured), DJ Tiesto
and Judge Jules will be there to represent the trance corner, whilst electro house heavyweights Fedde Le Grand
(check out his tunes in the player below), Swedish House Mafia and Granite & Phunk will also spin.
Amsterdam Dance Event takes place in top venues across the city including the infamous Panama and Club NL.
“People in the industry see it more and more as essential to be here and the event has found its own dynamic and is growing every year,” said Richard Zijlma.

Beatport presents...ADE
Beatport is presenting three parties at ADE this year at the Cineac club.
On Thursday 18th October Gabriel & Dresden
, Dave Spoon, Mark Knight and D. Ramirez will spin at a special Toolroom Knights event.
On Friday 19th October, French house superstar David Guetta
will be joined by his Dutch pals Jaziah and Chuckie.
And finally, on Saturday 20th October the Swedish House Mafia (Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell
) will spin back-to-back all night.
