America’s Best DJ 2009 vote begins

Voting for the fourth annual America’s Best DJ poll has begun, which aims to recognise the best DJ talent Stateside.

The yearly vote was launched because, “America’s Best DJ gives US-based DJs a chance to shine just as brightly as their European contemporaries. The US is the birthplace of dance music, the origin of club culture, and the biggest entertainment market in the world. Its DJs deserve a contest of their own.”

Pioneer Pro DJ and DJ Times magazine are the sponsors of the contest, and the poll is being supported by a 20 city tour presented by Pioneer.

The contest runs from May till August and over 150,000 dance music fans are expected to take part.

All voters will be eligible to win prizes that include a trip for two to ABDJ’s closing party and award ceremony on September 12th in Las Vegas.
