AlexisK Debuts on Permanent Damage Records
6 March, 2010 | 6.42AMThe First Lady of Dubstep, AlexisK brings her highly sought skills to Permanent Damage Records. On April 6, the “Death of Everything Cool” EP drops and the better half of dubstep begins her reign.
But don’t think this is a softer, gentler take on things: AlexisK means deep, dirty, and dark business. From gritty bass to her nasty guitar work, the EP is not for the lighthearted. **Surgeon General’s Warning** Playing this record within hearing range of your parents may cause them heart failure. Or worse.
AlexisK hails from New Zealand, and has already captured the attention of BBC radio, Optimus Gryme, and has a devoted following. Are you a schmuck? If not, then check out her video and mark your calendars, or face the ridicule of your friends and family.
Be sure to check the video for the title track “Death of Everything Cool”
The EP is on Permanent Damage, a Bermuda-based label with tomorrow’s polka classics and lots of experience changing diapers.
