’s incredibly consistent Analytic Trail imprint releases Alberto Pascual
’s ‘Anagramas EP’ This September.
Having already gained Hawtin and Beyer ,to name just a few, for previous releases, Alberto Pascual
is primed for this release on one of Italy’s most prominent techno imprints. Comprising four tracks of his darkness-tinged rhythmic sounds, it’s yet another must check release from the Neapolitan label.
Alberto Pascual
starts proceedings as they mean to go on with ‘Arbol Aspectual’; visceral and pumping. As with all Analytic Trail tracks, the groove is king but Alberto Pascual has made use of some wonderfully rounded bass and superbly designed synth effects to create a brutal yet eerie feel.

‘Copla Saturable’ treads a similar route but is altogether more urgent and, with some heavily delayed snare assaults carefully employed alongside some tuned drum hits, is an out and floor killer.
‘Tabacalero Plus’ is a more low slung, subtle and trippy affair, with bubbling synths rolling throughout to create a warm vibe, while final track ‘Petalo Bascular’ rounds things off with pitch shifted vocals and an incredibly moody, late night feel characterised by the overall sparseness of the sound palette used.
