Al-Faris and Freakquencer ‘Let It All Out’ with remake
10 December, 2007 | 2.33PM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
Those of you reading this old enough to remember the 1980s first hand will be of an age when Tears For Fears meant something more then just the name of Arthur Janov’s book on primal therapy, and ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’ wasn’t Osama Bin Laden’s mission statement to the western world.
The year is 1984, and Tears For Fears are one of the biggest pop acts on the planet with a number one album on both sides of the Atlantic and a string of hit singles.
‘Shout’ the biggest topping the American listings and selling a cool million in the days of vinyl and tape cassettes.
Jump forward to present day and the instantly recognizable anthem returns as ‘Let It All Out’ in the hands of Holland’s Al-Faris & Freakquencer.
It’s now a tough-edged electro banger with more then enough of the original vocal hooks and riffs to ensure it will appeal to clubbers new and old alike.
“Shout, shout, let it all out. I’m talking to you, so come on!”
