ʼs debut album, Brick By Brick, took the world by storm with the deep techno goods that could only be bred in a city like San Francisco. Taking elements of Deep House, Techno and minimal and whipping them together with a nod towards the good old days and the days yet to come, Alland Byallo
made his mark in 2009. Now come the remixes.
Between turning out regular remixes and releases, touring the globe or runnin’ things for techno and tech-house in his home of San Francisco, Byallo has been on a rampage and is taking 2010 by the horns!
From his recent remix for Ed Davenport
out on Poker Flat
, a record on seminal French label Missive, coming releases for Dirt Crew![[a]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_a.gif)
and Hallucination Ltd, to remixing Brett Johnson
, Tony Rohr
or Triple R
and getting his own album remixed by Dario Zenker
, Agaric
, Ed Davenport
, Frivolous
, Joshua Iz
, and Dave Aju
, as you can imagine, mister master Alland Byallo
has very little time to spare.
His [KONTROL] night, the West Coast’s most notorious tech-centric monthly, welcomed Guy Gerber
and Alexi Delano
in January, Dixon
and Seth Troxler
in February… For March ALLAND is inviting Circus Company
with Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts
, Sety
& Dave Aju
. April will be Thomas Fehlmann

Patrik Skoog
, aka Agaric
, has been turning heads with his unique techno stylingʼs for years. Lately heʼs been bringing the funk out and really working it out. He injects his Berlin hybrid tech-house funk into the War Zero mix, by adding jackinʼ beats, fun vocals and just straight party time. This is a hit for sure, already devastating dancefloors worldwide.
The man from Munich, Dario Zenker
, reworks the original into a chunky, synth driven slab of heat. This is for the warehouse, the loft, the darkness. Strong stabs, fat bassline, and drums that bounce in a 90ʼs deep house dance craze kind of way make this a strong, unique and perfect tool for sweaty underground all-nighters.
Ed Davenport
has been seeing so much great press lately. From his releases on fine labels such as Poker Flat
and Liebe*Detail, to his dizzying sets at Panoramabar, this Berliner by way of London is rocking and rolling in an unstoppable fashion. His submission to this package is chunky tech-house bomb. The drums go broken, the stabs and synths attack you, but overall the darkness is there, definitely reflecting lots of time spent at the Panorama and Berghain dancefloors and DJ booth. 100% pure, timeless quality.
Last but not least, the bonus remix is a huge rework by label owner Alland Byallo
, himself. Taking the drums and vocal stabs of the original Recliner track, Byallo converts the heady Berghain-influenced minimal techno bomb into an organic House fanfare, bringing together a beautiful blend of bongos, congas and other auxiliary percussion, nostalgic piano licks and classic techno stabs. Classic hit!
Support and amazing feedback has been pouring in from such names as Laurent Garnier
