There’s something to be said for taking matters into your own hands. Adam Port writes that he put together the video for ”Weekend” himself, in 15 minutes, before anyone could upload a rip of the track to YouTube accompanied by the stereotypical cheesecake shots.

And, no, Port’s video isn’t really much to talk about, but the tune’s absolutely lovely—a clever reconfiguration of a recent R&B jam you may well recognize. We aren’t saying what it is, however—after all, there’s a reason the label’s called Play It Down…
