& Soha’s simple instrumental ‘Twilight’ has been bubbling away for a couple of months, having first been championed by Roger Sanchez and Tiesto.
Not to be confused with the Maze instrumental of the same name from the 1980s, this subtle shuffler blends house beats with Darude-like semi-classical trance chords, and would have once-upon-a-time had the potential to become a runaway pop success in the same vein as Robert Miles’ ‘Children’.
But in the current climate, that will rarely happen again.
Regardless, Adam Kershen, a talented producer from Canada, and studio partner Soha
Radjpoust, still have created a record of depth, quality and charm that has the support of the likes of Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Layo & Bushwacka and Gabriel & Dresden already on their side.
With mixes from Robytek and Chris Barratt exclusive to Beatport, along with a potential killer vocal to be added in the near-future, this driving near-hypnotic number will give Rebirth/We Love Muzik every chance of starting 2008 in fine style.
