Wahoo! A Ricardo Villalobos remix on Luciano’s Cadenza is more than enough to get us excited under the hood.

And this is a positive Chilean threesome, as Villalobos has remixed Los Updates ‘4 Wheel Drive’, who are a hot Chilean band who have gained loads of exposure this year thanks to a superb Luciano edit of their track ‘Getting Late’ (Luciano included the track in his Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 in January).

Los Updates’ signature wonky vocals combine with Villalobos’ inspiring minimal wrinkling, to produce a funky dancefloor treat not dissimilar to his hit ‘Baile Sin Petit’ from last year.

Think finger snaps and the slightest of kick drums blended with weird vocals and a few bizarre FX.

Chile is on fire.
