12th Planet feat. Juakali “Reasons (Doctor P Remix)”

This video marks a pivotal moment in the dubstep scene. Los Angeles producer and SMOG’s resident DJ 12th Planet teams up with Dub War NYC MC Juakali on the track ”Reasons," pushing the sound in the direction for a more mainstream audience with support from MTV. The anthem styles of dubstep seem to be spreading like wildfire at the moment, and as MTV adopts more electronic sounds, there’s no telling how far it will go from here. I guess it shouldn’t go without mentioning that we’re also getting the signature sounds of Doctor P on this remix. (Unless he’s making a hidden cameo in the crowded party scene, from what we can tell, it looks like he didn’t make the video shoot.)
