10th Ibiza DJ Awards at Pacha Soon!

The annual tradition of the Ibiza DJ Awards is just around the corner. This year celebrates the 10th anniversary of the event, which is well respected among dance music enthusiasts.

Voting is currently underway in 12 categories including various genres of dance music (house, techno, trance, tech house/progressive, urban and electro), plus various other categories including Newcomer, Breakthrough, Ibiza Bar, International Festival and Special Awards.

Within the Special Awards category, kudos are being handed out for Outstanding Contribution, Lifetime Achievement, Set of the Season, Ibiza DJ, Ibiza Bar, Track of the Season, International DJ, Technology and Media.

The Awards began in 1998 to pay tribute to those that help to create the Summer party scene, much of which occurs in Ibiza, but which also has a ripple effect to the rest of the globe.

This year’s nominees include some heavy hitters: Louie Vega, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Sasha, M.A.N.D.Y., Trentemøller, Fedde Le Grand and Tiefschwarz - to name just a few.
