- Hear more from Herva on Beatport
Young upstart Herve Atsè Corti (aka Herva) got his start playing drums and tinkering around with numerous instruments as a kid growing up in a rural part of Italy. After a chance encounter with some production software, Corti discovered a love for electronic music that has since evolved into a truly hybrid production style, combining shades of bass music, house, techno, and even touches of the West Coast beat scene into his rich, textured tracks. Recently tapped by the Bosconi Extra Virgin imprint, Herva’s debut LP, Meanwhile In Madland, saw a release last month, laying the groundwork for what is bound to be a career as adventerous as it is impressive.
In this edition of Introducing, we dig deeper into Corti’s roots, process, and his plans for the future.
