Massive respect going out to all the cool “Catwalkers” and “Metrobassheads” who made it down to the Catwalk club Saturday 8th March for our last party, lots of noise from the dancefloor showed the lovely ladies on the decks that for sure all was rocking in a fine Metrobass style, our feedback so far, for ZoëXenia Live, she was amazing with “live vocals and synth work to die for”, Feedback for Monica Electronica, she was again amazing and kept the crowd there until the very end with her powerfull “underbelly tech style”, and for Sophie Oliver, her first time in Holland made her quite a lot of fans, we are pleased to say, she was superbly rocking too, and getting all those hands in the air all thru her set! 

Coming up at the next session of Metrobass, we are looking forward once more to the “return of the Roach” yes people!!! Darren is back in town, as on this night we present London’s EBM aka ELECTRONIC BODY MOVEMENT “vs” Rotterdams very own movers of the underground...METROBASS. 

So this is looking like a real special night for all involved, since the last Metrobass appearance of DARREN ROACH, the man has been busy not only Dj’ing on the London scene but also travelling to places like Thailand, Spain and Turkey, alongside a hectic Dj’ing schedule at home and abroad, Darren is also hard at work in the studio on his first releases for his new London based label named after his infamous London clubnight “EBM” you will be sure to get some samples of his rocking new production on the night at Catwalk.

Also on this edition artists joining “the Roach” include top Spanish Dj , live act and producer “DAVID MARTZZ”, David is a born and bred Mallorcan islander and his sound is a definite crowd pleaser at the London EBM nights, his sets are made up from his own live music and edits from some of the better club tracks of the day alongside usage of some good old fashioned vinyl , the sound is mixed up all together to give the dancefloor one hell of a musical experience. David’s own production is heavily supported by the likes of “Hernan Cattaneo” and “John Aquaviva” also David’s new Mallorca based label “Illa” is already busy with new production work from Pig & Dan, Patrick Turner and even the legendary UK Techno producer “Aubrey” not to mention David himself.....

Representing home base Rotterdam as ever we have our very own residents FABIENNE SOIGNI and CISCO DE LA HOYA, always bringing the vibe these two very special Metrobassheads will be joined by the very talented producer and one of Rotterdam’s most kicking new school Djs, BORIS ROSS,

Boris is the man behind the much acclaimed and Rotterdam based tek house label “Luxaflex”, and is already gaining much attention from the likes of Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice and Josh Wink as well as Darren Roach himself, Boris describes his music as “Sexual funk technology for the mind” and we can not argue with that!
