Last.fm presents Tetine (live), The Heartbreaks (live) and The RGBs (live) + DJs [Free]

Last.fm/Presents return to the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club after our storming sell out Christmas knees up, this time with a wild excursion into the wonders of synthesized pop and we’re pretty confident to say that we have secured some of the most exciting new electronic artists we’ve heard on the hype charts in months… well at least since we curated our last event!

Sao Paulo-based Tetine are in town to shake the walls with their wild mix-up of Punk-Funk/New Wave/Post- Punk/Baile-Bass. Responsible for bringing over the Baile-Funk sound to our shores they have built up a steady following in the UK. If you’ve not had the pleasure of checking out Tetine just yet, to give you an idea of just how good they are CSS’s Lovefoxxx was recently quoted name dropping the band as her inspiration for live performances …so we think this is definitely going to be a show to remember!

If Brazil’s hottest electronic outfit isn’t enough we also have Heartbreak, and as we’re throwing down some quotes we may as well drop the nugget from Italo legend Casco who describes them as “the real Italo …from today”. As their Last.fm artist page states Heartbreak juxtapose different backgrounds (Electro vs. Italo Pop) to create a hybrid that makes the world dance with tears in their eyes, like bi-polar maniacs in the brink of an ecstatic panic attack!

To round off our live acts, how about checking out Groove Armada’s current protégées The RGB’s who will also be on hand to showcase their latest pop / electro gems. After turning heads on the live circuit for sometime, they are currently in the studio with Armada working on their much-anticipated new material, as always you know where you’ll hear this first so keep your ears tuned to Last.fm, yeah!

DJs on hand for the night will be Last.fm’s very own European Man dropping a selection of the Hague’s finest and also Love’s Tru Flavour dropping more Italo bombs and bassline 4x4 bangers!
