Video interview: Plump DJs
Legendary British breaks duo the Plump DJs
performed for the first time in the States at Mighty in San Francisco recently. The pair have never played in America due to a minor criminal offence stopping them from traveling to the country.
In this video interview, the Plumps get interviewed by a fan about their recent album ‘Headthrash’ (listen to it in the player below), they share some tips with aspiring producers, and reveal that their next album might be a four-to-the-floor project released under a different alias.

Video: The Crystal Method return to Vegas
Scott Kirkland is no stranger to odd reactions when people learn that he and band mate Ken Jordan grew up in Las Vegas. The Crystal Method
have been L.A. transplants for more than a decade.
“They always seem surprised we don’t have a slot machine arm coming out of the side of our head,” joked Kirkland.
As this video shows, the Grammy-nominated duo had a recent homecoming gig while touring in support of their new album, ‘Divided By Night’.

A Meeting With M.A.N.D.Y.
When Philipp Jung arrived in Toronto to represent M.A.N.D.Y.
last month, I had the opportunity to interview him and discuss where and when Get Physical came from and how this label all started. We discussed some of their earlier singles and found out who really started to play the tracks of M.A.N.D.Y.
Philipp continues to talk about his musical relationship with his partner Patrick, the future of M.A.N.D.Y. and the Get Physical label. I also figured in this interview how many gigs does M.A.N.D.Y. get in a year. All in all, this is an insightful and informative interview as Philipp presents himself as one of the most charming DJs to interview.

Timur Valiev - The Nu Road
Sometimes it looks like its time to get used to experimental mood of every next Indeks music release, but lot of people get surprised again. For sure there is reason for that something that has been stable for all this time was finally changed sound palette.
The Nu Road compilation adds to its mainly balanced sound some smell of waste (in the way of acid sluts).
So, the release includes original the nu road and 2 versions of disorted sound from Beatrix Trixy and Rudolph Palladin.

MODFUNK - We Got Game [Official Video]
An infectious “club” track, “We got Game” links a quirky video and a highly entertaining focal character to great effect. Already having shown great commercial viability, as a song that genuinely sits as well on the radio as it does at home it is a feel good party track, upbeat and electronic, and has obvious references to the worldwide success of French Artists such as Daft Punk. Support for the project has already been strong, with French production legend Demon (MTV award nominee/ US Club Chart No.1) already promoting the track heavily within France and by also providing his own remix.
