Tocadisco (turntable in Spanish), aka Roman Boër born on June 8th, 1974, is a German DJ and producer.
His DJ career started in 1996 when he began playing at the Unique Club in Düsseldorf. He went on to play for fashion companies G-Star Jeans and Diesel.
He started producing in 2001 when he released his remix of Slam’s ‘Lifetimes’ which ended up landing in the Top 12 Remixes of 2001 by Groove Magazine.
In 2003, his first single ‘Nobody (Likes The Records That I Play)’ was released on Superstar Recordings. By 2005, he was voted as one of the best newcomers of 2004 by Raveline.
Tocadisco has gone on to do several remixes for artists such as Tiga, Bob Sinclar, Tommie Sunshine, Amo & Navas, Axwell, DY10, Mighty Dub Katz (Fatboy Slim),Culcha Candela, Junkie XL, Nicolette and Sebastian Heerhorst.
In 2007, he played the second hour of Matt Darey’s weekly Nocturnal radio show.
The following year he assisted David Guetta in the production of his ‘Pop Life’ album.
