The brothers Sirko & Stephan Wötanowski are the actual founders of the band Symphonix and True Lies. They started in 1998 with djing under the names Montagu & Golkonda and organizing events like Tshitraka Project, which grows over the years to a massive open air festival with international people.
After years playing on major events they started to produce their own music, to create their own ideas. The style of Symphonix is groovy progressive trance with a warm atmosphere and always a punch of psychedelic. After releasing tracks on various compilations, they released their sucessfull Symphonix debut album “Music Prostitute” at Blue Tunes Records in december 2006 and the new album “The Wild Life” in 2008.
Around the same time they based their sideproject True Lies, in order to make different things in their production. The style of these project is more progressive house with electro and trance influences. In the middle of 2007 the True Lies Debut “Disco Billy” was released at Candyflip Records.
In the beginning of 2006 they created their own label Blue Tunes Records, to have a platform for their own musical style. The label got a successful start and developed to a firm component in the trance scene.
