The Plump DJs, aka Lee Rous and Andy Gardner, are a breakbeat production and DJ duo hailing from London, England.

Formed in 1999, The Plumps (as they’re sometimes known) released their double single ‘Plump Chunks/Electric Disco’ on Finger Lickin’ Records, and have since collaborated with the likes of Gary Numan, Freq Nasty [a] , and General MIDI [a] .

The Plump DJs are considered to be one of the best acts in breakbeat, celebrated for their commitment to the sound, and the consistency of their releases.

The Plumps have won the “Best Producer” and “Best Single” awards at Breakspoll, the annual London-based awards for the breakbeat sound, consecutively.
