Olivier Giacomotto is a French electro house DJ/producer who started his career in the late ‘90s.

He found his start experimenting with several different genres—hip hop, lounge and downtempo among them—before finally finding a comfortable outlet in electro house.

After remixing Robot Needs Oil [a] , Hipp-E [a] , and Mantra Vibe came a rush of success, and later an alliance with the legendary John Acquaviva [a] , who signed him to his Definitive Recordings [l] imprint in 2006 with the tune ‘Walking On The Moog’. Since then, his name has pinned to a number of top ten Beatport hits.

The following year, ‘Sofa King’, co-produced with Acquaviva himself, further cemented his position within the higher echelons of producers, and gigs at Privilege in Ibiza, Ministry of Sound and Turnmills in London, amongst others, provided him with world-class outlets to demonstrate his talent as a jock as well as a producer.
