Josh Wink [a], aka Joshua Winkelman, is a techno DJ and producer.

As a child, he studied piano for three years before moving on to the clarinet in his teens. He began DJing at the early age of 13 and by the time he turned 18 in 1988 he was already playing in clubs.  The same year, he met DJ King Britt [a] and the two began producing together.

He has also been known to produce under his Wink, Winc, Winks, Winx, The Crusher, E-Culture, and Size 9 aliases.

In 1990, Wink and Britt founded the Ovum Recordings [l] label.

His song ‘Higher State of Consciousness’ is featured on the popular video game Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
