Speaking about Paco Osuna is referring to one of the most successful producers and DJs to hail from Spain, so much so that he has forged a very important position within the top ranks of the European dance community as a whole, and it is not easy to summarize his success, but it is possible to derive it from three common denominators: creativity, innovation and evolution.

Paco Osuna found interest in music at the age of 14; by the time he was 20 he completed his first track and in 1994 he turned his passion into his profession. His career jump-started when he earned a residency at the legendary club Amnesia in Ibiza, allowing him to establish himself as an artist to watch, and subsequently joined the roster of the prestigious Cocoon Agency. From this launching point, his own musical creativity was put to the task and he quickly began creating productions for labels such as Serial Killer, Morbid, and Real State, until 2003,when he started his own label, Shake Records, which was when Paco began to formally develop his own unique style.

n 2006, Paco Osuna created his second label, Mindshake, which continues his mission to reach his full potential as an artist. With international contemporaries such as Skoozbot, Ambivalent, Paul Ritch, Matteo Spedicatti and Andrea Ferlin on board, Mindshake began to quickly receive praise and great success attracting attention from the world over. Within his own country, he helped open Club 4, a club with a concept, which has emerged as a foundation of the original Barcelona scene, establishing itself as the choice for variety and accessibility to new musical tendencies.

As if this was not enough, Paco Osuna is now intimately linked to Plus 8, with two strong EP releases to date, Crazy and Orbeat, both receiving great success on a global level. This continuous movement has characterized Paco throughout his career, and he has diversified yet again creating a new hybrid DJ/live set, which he has presented internationally in prestigious clubs and events like Awakenings Amsterdam), Fabric (London) and Goa Club (Rome). Thus, his dedication, skill and popularity, have led to several tours around the globe with stops at DEMF (Detroit), WMC (Miami), SAMC (BuenosAires), and Amore (Rome) to name a few.

Paco Osuna continues to evolve his own unique sound. He has the rare ability to take the most pure minimalistic audio palette and inject it with his own personality, with an emphasis on clarity, momentum, depth, agility and intelligence. Utilizing these traits, combined with his unbridled creativity and innovation while performing live on stage, his strength, passion and energy shows through in his dynamic sets, creating a story and establishing a unique connection with his audience.

Paco Osuna was born in Barcelona. His passion for music started out
when he was very young, at the tender age of 14 he was part of a regular
crowd at Studio 54, where the most charismatic dj, Raul Orellana, was
spinning Acid House, marking Paco in the way of understanding djing. 

In ‘94 Paco moved to Valencia where he had his first contact with the decks
as a hobby. In ‘95 Paco made his first dj set as a professional at the ACTV
club, where he gained a year residency. After that, he started playing in
many different clubs including Heaven and Universal. 

In the meanwhile he worked in a record shop, where he got access to a
recording studio in which he produced three singles for the label Lucas
Records. In ‘99 he got a residency at Amnesia in Ibiza. There he had the
brilliant opportunity to be line up with the biggest djs and could learn the
different styles looking to build his own. Amnesia was also the place where
Paco got in touch with the person who most influenced his future as much
personally as professionally, Sven Väth, who soon discovered Paco to be
very talented and introduced him in his Cocoon Booking agency. Paco was
the first Spanish dj to play for this prestigious agency. 

In 2001 Paco decided to leave house music moving closer to Techno. From
then on Paco ́s career has gotten better and better, leading him to the best clubs and festivals in the world and giving him a ‘seat’ in the techno scene.

Paco Osuna was born in Barcelona, Spain and started DJing in 1994.  He has since risen through the ranks to become a resident of Ibiza’s renowned Amnesia club and has worked with Richie Hawtin on both his Plus 8 and Minus labels.  He founded his own imprint, Shake, in 2003 and has worked with Marco Carola, Davide Squillace, Josh Wink amongst several others.
