Mario & Eric J [a] are a progressive house production team based out of Dallas, Texas. Melodic, atmospheric, lush and deep are words that have been used to describe the music produced by the production duo. With over 20 years experience as DJs and music makers, the pair has a talent for creating melodic, emotional music built on the solid foundations of house grooves.

Mario & Eric J [a] have just completed work on their debut artist album, entitled ‘Characters’. The album features ten original tracks ranging from deep, lush house to big room progressive. Set for release on Source of Gravity Digital [l] in the summer of 2010, tracks on this album have already received wide support and acclaim from DJ’s such as Nick Warren [a], Ferry Corsten [a], Markus Schulz [a], Ian Ossia [a], George Kyrimis, Liam Shachar [a], Hawker, Pablo Acenso [a], Jay Tronik, Liluca [a], and many more. The duo has also done remix work for labels such as Source of Gravity Digital [l], 7 Seas Digital, and Olympik Records. A recent remix of the classic track ‘Not Over Yet’ was recently awarded the number two slot on the Djtunez.net Top 5 tunes.

In addition to their production work, the pair is hosting a 2 hour podcast for label Source of Gravity Digital [l] featuring a resident mix from both artists along with guest DJ’s on each episode. The podcast serves as a showcase for Source of Gravity Digital [l] upcoming releases as well as promos and exclusives from label friends around the world. The show has already featured guest mixes from talented DJ’s such as Sasha Le Monnier [a] and Jairus Miller [a] as well as music from progressive labels such as Segment Records [l], Pure Substance Recordings, 7 Seas Digital, and Source of Gravity Digital [l].

Mario & Eric J are currently focusing on producing music for their second artist album as well as managing a busy remix schedule.
