Justice [a] is an electronic music duo consisting of French musicians Gaspard Augé (born 21 May 1979 in Besançon) and Xavier de Rosnay (born 2 July 1982).

The duo is the most successful group on Ed Banger Records and is managed by the label’s head, Pedro Winter, also known as Busy P.

They first began production together when they collaborated for Musclorvision’s ‘Hits Up To You’ Eurovision song contest. The compilation included two of their songs and a track by Augé’s alter-ego Microloisir.

In 2003, their release of the Simian ‘Never Be Alone’ remix caught the attention of Ed Banger Records, which quickly led to the track being signed.  A year later the track was re-released on DJ Hell’s International DeeJay Gigolo Records and eventually given a commercial release in the UK in the summer of 2006 under the title “We Are Your Friends,” on Ten Records, a sub-label of Virgin Records.

Following that remix, the duo went on to remix for the likes of Britney Spears, N*E*R*D, Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk [a], Franz Ferdinand, Mystery Jets, Soulwax [a], and Mr. Oizo [a].

On June 11, 2007 they released their debut album titled ‘†’ on Ed Banger Records.  The album was preceded by the ‘D.A.N.C.E. EP’, released on May 28, 2007.

Justice was nominated for Best Dance Recording (for ‘D.A.N.C.E.’) and Best Electronic/Dance Album (for †) at the 50th Grammy Awards.

In July 2008, Justice was revealed to have done a mix for the Dior Homme Summer 2009 Fashion Show.

Their remix of MGMT’s ‘Electric Feel’ won a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in 2009.
