James Zabiela is a DJ from Southampton, England.

His sound is said to be a fusion of breakbeat and house, but has in recent years moved towards tech house.

James Zabiela is also renowned for his mixing skills, that includes turntable and CDJ scratching, loop machines and audio effects. 

Zabiela got his ‘big break’ after he was signed to the Excession DJ agency, run by British DJ Sasha.

In 2003, Zabiela has set his own label Hearing Aid, with Paul Sidoli.

Zabiela has released music on Bedrock Records and Renaissance.
