David Guetta, born on November 7th, 1967 in Paris, is a French house producer and DJ.

At the age of 13 he began mixing vinyl at home and by 15 he was throwing parties in his basement.  Two years later he started playing at club Broad in Paris which is where his career began.

From 1988 to 1990 he mixed house music on Radio Nova.

In 1994 he released his first single ‘Up & Away’ on Dance Pool and released his first full album in 2002 on Virgin and Gum Records entitled ‘Just A Little More Love’.

The majority of his vocal productions are done with Chris Willis or Cozi Costi.

His ‘The World Is Mine’ & ‘Love Is Gone’ singles both reached the number one spot on the US Dance single charts.

Guetta made a celebrity appearance on an advertisement for L’Oreal hair products.

In 2008, he was crowned the number 5 DJ in the world by DJ Mag.
