Gui Boratto, born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1974, is an electronic music producer known for his melodic techno output.

The music of Gui Boratto [a] is said to be a fusion of trance and minimal techno, due to the intricate harmonic melodies he uses over stripped-back drum patterns.

Between 1994 and 2004, he released productions on labels such as BMG, EMI, Plastic City [l], Circle [a], Irma Records [l], Kompakt [l], Audiomatique, Harthouse [l], and several others.

His debut full length album ‘Chromophobia’ was released in 2007 on Kompakt [l].
