Christian Smith [a] is a Swedish-born, Sao Paulo-based, techno DJ and producer.

Together with his longtime collaborator John Selway [a] , Smith has released music on Bedrock Records [l] , Ovum Recordings [l] , Drumcode [l] (the label run by techno DJ Adam Beyer [a] ), and Renaissance [l] .

Christian Smith lived in Barcelona, Spain, for a few years and whilst living there he produced a monthly Thursday night club event called Club4 at City Hall, with fellow techno DJs Paco Osuna [a] , Adam Beyer [a] and Marco Carola [a] .

In February 2009, after a two year hiatus, Christian Smith relaunched his Tronic record label, an imprint which is said to offer music that appeals to both techno and house DJs.
