Blendend frequenta la scena punk dei primi anni novanta, avvicinandosi sempre piu’ alle suggestioni della musica elettronica, fino a che, nel 2006, decide di abbandonare del tutto gli strumenti acustici per intraprendere la carriera di dj e producer;

Nel 2006, insieme a Tarcisio Longobardi, fonda i SINC… DUO Techno/Deep/Electro e, inizialmente, pubblicano per la TheFlame Rec. Producer e Dj molto attivo comincia a suonare in vari Club come Wasabi(Ba), Zenzero(Ba), Rialto S.Ambrogio(Roma)...avendo cosi la possibilità di condividere la consolle con artisti come Konrad Black, Tim Xavier, Camea, Leo Mass, Luciano Esse, Antonio Lananna (Skizzo) Martin Buttrich, Matt Tolfrey

...nei Party Privati, che spesso organizza e cura personalmente, riesce a dare la massima espressione della sua arte cercando e riuscendo a raggiungere il vero fulcro della club culture in un connubio di musica, divertimento ed educazione…

Nel 2008 Nasce l’organizzazione FLOYD UNIT, intenta a far crescere e coordinare le nuove realtà artistiche locali aiutandole ad avere la giusta visibilità!

La sua musica si caratterizza per sequenze di batteria fredde, pulite, di sapore industriale, che generano groove corposi e taglienti, con incursioni di melodie dissonanti in atmosfere sospese e rarefatte.

Blendend (a.k.a. Gianluca Lorusso) hung out at punk scene since early ’90.

He came closer and closer to electronic music suggestions and in 2006 he decided to turn from acoustics instruments and to undertake dj and producer career…

in the same year he launched into the duo/techno/deep/electro project “Sinc” [their first works were realeased by theflame rec.] .

soon he performed in many famous Italian clubs like Wasabi(Ba), Clorophilla (Ta), Heineken Club (BA), MayDay (Ba), Zenzero(Ba), Rialto S.Ambrogio(Roma), this gave him the chance to play with Konrad Black, Tim Xavier, Camea, Leo Mass, Luciano Esse, Antonio Lananna (Skizzo) Martin Buttrich, Matt Tolfrey.

Max Expression of His Art comes during private parties (he is also the only promoter of them) and it is during those that he gets the core of the club culture mixing music, entertainment and education…

Blended music is characterized by a mix of cold and dry drum patterns of industrial flavour, which create fat and sharp grooves, with dissonant melodies in rarefied atmospheres.

In 2008 Blendend set up FU / Floyd Unit, an organization intended for the development and coordination of the new local talent artists for international electronic club scene.
