Benny Benassi
, aka Marco Benassi, is an electronic music producer and DJ born in Milan in 1967.
He began DJing with his cousin, Alle Benassi, in their hometown in the late 80’s, but then moved to the Off Limits production studios in the mid-90’s to begin producing his own music.
In 2001, his ‘I Feel So Fine’ single, produced under his KMC alias, hit dance floors and soon became a #1 hit in the UK.
The next year he released ‘Satisfaction’ which released the #2 spot in the UK Singles Chart.
He went on to team up with cousin Alle again to form the Benassi Bros.
In 2004 they released their first album, ‘Pumphonia’, and only a year later released their second album entitled ‘…Phobia’. This new alias was designed to shine the spotlight on The Biz
vocalists.
He has done remix work for the likes of OutKast, Goldfrapp
, Felix Da Housecat
, Tomcraft
and Fischerspooner
In 2005, Benny founded the Pump-kin![[a]](http://www.beatportal.com/images/site/misc/wiki_box_a.gif)
