In 2002, after several hits ranging in genres with different pseudonyms, Luca Moretti and Ricky Romanini release their first official pure trance track, “I Will Find You”, with the exceptional featuring of Clannad – probably the world’s most famous Celtic act ever.
The single becomes an instant hit also thanks to the support of International radios such as BBC Radio 1 and of worldwide known DJs among which Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and Pete Tong to name a few.
A few months later, the duo lays its hands on Plummet’s “Damaged”; the Moretti-Romanini signature remix definitely puts Antilla’s name in the hall of fame of trance Artists and Remixers.
With 20 weeks high in UK’s charts and over 8 months of airplay, “Damaged” is one of the hottest tracks of the year, both in clubs and mainstream.
The Antillas project is now remixing for the finest labels around – Ministry of Sound, Nettwerk, Black Hole, Data, Nebula, Universal, Incentive among them – and for such Artists as Warrior, Andy Hunter, Simply Red, Deepest Blue, Conjure One, Sun and Tess, thus getting to the top of UK cool cuts and buzz charts .
Antillas puts the icing on the cake with its mind blowing version of Tiesto’s single “Just Be”, which will also give its name to the world’s number 1 DJ’s album. The prestigious Antillas brand is now stamped on more than 5.000.000 singles and compilations worldwide.
Antillas’ projects for 2009 include a re-work of its first single and a long list of collaborations to be later disclosed.
