The brazilian DJ and producer Alex Dias has been reaching his spot on the international electronic music scene, with his tracks being played, and massively supported, by the likes of Carl Cox, who licensed one of his tracks to 3 cd compilations and one DVD, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell and John Aquaviva Who released some of his material on his Definitive imprint. Apart from that, his releases on his own label, ADS Records, has also reached the top of the charts on many specialized websites.

With Cox’s support all the way through, Alex has managed to have his track Matéria featured on the compilation mixed by Carl for the “superclub” Space Ibiza, the second Best club in the world according to DJ Mag, and on another compilation, mixed by the Techno king himself, live at Dance Valley, one of the largest festivals in the world. Still carving his way into the international market, Alex’s remix for the mega-hit “At Night” was played more than a few times by Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1 from London, and his main hit so far, Matéria, played by Eddie Halliwell on his own show also on BBC Radio 1.

Alex’s own label, ADS Records, features an important casting with some top brazilian and also some great internationl producers, like André Dazzo, Bruno Be, Danilo Ercole, Edson B. ,Ed Jr, Elton D, DJ Mr. Gil, Gustavo Peluzo, Gustavo Assis, Paulinho PT, Ricardo Motta, Ricardinho Taboo, Sandro Search, San Schwartz, Tiago S, Kali, Peppelino, Tirvo, Wehbba, Vegim, Vortechtral and more. The crew is responsible for some of the biggest selling releases on the Junodwonload website in 2008.

Apart from his own imprint, Alex Dias is involved with another 12 labels from abroad, and in 2008 he has joined 2 of the big ones, Definitive Recordings, from John Acquaviva, home of David Amo, Julio Navas, Richie Hawtin, Oliver Giacomotto, Paul Jackson, Mark Mendes, Kolombo and many others, and also Adult Records from holland, on of the main hardgroove Techno labels nowadays, which features Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Marko Nastic, Hertz, Cave, Pedro Delgardo, Boriqua Tribez, Paul Mac,
Stephane Signore, Kobaya to name but a few.

Alex Dias is currently a monthly resident DJ at Inside Music Bar in Curitiba-Brazil, and tours the whole country presenting his impressive mixing technique developed over more than 10 years as a DJ, at the Best clubs around Brazil.
