AFFKT represents the most eclectic side of Marc Martínez Nadal.

After many years studying music theory and piano at the conservatory of Valencia, AFFKT has discovered new forms of musical creation and is one of the most promising producers to emerge from Spain in recent years.
Comprising a balanced mix of dance music and sound experimentation, the first tracks of the AFFKT project came to light on the Spanish ’Magnolia Digital Label‘ in May 2007. Marc also produces under three other titles, he belongs to the ‘drum n bass’ duo of ’Malsum‘, produces new and interesting bands like his eclectic side project composition of ’Rapsodes‘ and reserves his ’Renace‘ alter ego for more dark, cyclical hypnotic techno music.

Now sharing the studio with Barraca residents Danny Fiddo, Alberto Sola and Rafa Siles, AFFKT is the catalyst in helping them truly fulfil their potential whilst further enhancing his own name in electronic music as a true artist.  His first full release alongside Danny Fiddo on the ’Barraca Music‘ label entitled ’Points‘ on the El Prólogo EP has been widely acclaimed; being loved and played by Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Marco Carola, 2000 And One, Radio Slave, Loco Dice and many other big names around the DJ world. Not a bad achievement for someone’s debut house and techno release. 

With more tracks due for imminent release, Marc has a commanding Live act to call upon which has already been demonstrated at La Canniccia (Italy), Tresor (Berlin), Barraca (Valencia), Weekend (Berlin) and Suburbia (Rome). The very near future will bring to light more solo work, ongoing work on a feature length album and forthcoming releases on the ’Barraca Music‘ (Cocofai EP) and ’3rd Floor Records‘ (La Safa & El Baladre) labels alongside remix work for Mothership, Buzzin Fly and on Rekids for Radio Slave and Martinez with tracks that represent the promising potential of AFFKT
